Niche & Emerging Racket Sports

Whether you are a pickleball or tennis player looking for variety, we provide opportunities to learn and experience alternative racket sports. Our programming features high-momentum, short-court disciplines including TYPTI, Spec Tennis, SkyBall, RallyBall and POP 44 Tennis. We offer clinics, social mixers and tournaments for these sports, and can provide loaner equipment so you can try them without an investment.

  • TYPTI – combine the strung rackets, spin, and swings of tennis and the slower, floating ball flight of badminton.
  • SkyBall – uses a tennis style racket and high-density smooth foam ball, offering a mini-tennis playstyle. Great for aging tennis players looking for a smaller court, lower impact game.
  • RallyBall – uses a strung racket and a dedicated foam ball, leaning close to traditional pickleball mechanics, but with reduced noise.
  • Spec Tennis – uses a solid perforated paddle and low-compression tennis balls making it easy for pickleball players to learn, reducing the noise of standard pickleballs.
  • POP Tennis (POP 44) – a downscaled, fast-paced version of traditional tennis (similar rules and scoring) that uses a heavy, perforated paddle and a low-compression tennis ball.
